We are honoured to carry Vince Lomanto’s beautiful new collection of pen and ink sketches inspired by his walks around Dundas, Ontario. This Heritage Dundas Collection consists of originals and prints of local homes, buildings and landmarks and can be seen and purchased exclusively at Oliver & Co. Home.
Born in Dundas, Ontario, Vince Lomanto is a proud homegrown artist. His love for the Dundas area inspired his creative work — from the time he was a boy growing up on his grandfather’s local farm to attending the one-room schoolhouse on Governors Road. Though the Dundas water tower now stands where he used to spend his days as a boy on a farm, his love of nature, architecture and family still fuels his creative energy.
Vince primarily works with acrylic paint, pen and ink and has done pieces ranging from wildlife and landscapes to abstracts. As a diverse artist, Vince enjoys working with other media including woodcarving. His intricate wildfowl carvings won him both first and second place at the Canadian Wildfowl Championships.
